7th Street Bridge Closure

Please be advised that the 7th Street Bridge in Beiseker will be closed as of June 30th, 2020. An number of recent inspections on the structure took place in 2019/20 and although we attempted to resolve the problem by limiting the weight of vehicles that can cross the bridge, we have received notification from our engineers that the integrity of the structure continues to deteriorate.
The Village of Beiseker has submitted a request for funding to assist with the necessary repairs of the 7th Street bridge, but we have been advised that these funds may not be available for some time.
Essential services that would normally use the bridge have been notified and have determined alternate routes for access in and out of the village.
We appreciate your understanding of the situation. The Village of Beiseker will continue to pursue funding opportunities to complete the repairs as they become available.
